One of the things I don’t really comprehend is people who think they are superior over another race. Or the vulgar remarks on a certain race, or words against a race that just reflect a large negative connotation or better yet stereotyping. Some of the things are funny but at other types it’s baffling that someone can think like that. I mean I will agree and I can make some racial remarks at times, but in a friendly connotation, and doesn’t mean I’m a racist. Not saying I dislike you, but just a friendly joke. I consider that ok, but when people say it to demean someone and lower their values over there race…
Racism is the belief that your race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race. Now if you need to feel more superior for you race over another, which just makes your race look bad. Shows that you’re race is as ignorant as the next guy.
At times I tend to get just aggravated, and just feel bad for some of the people that abrupt on a certain race, so they will feel better. I don’t understand why we should be treated differently. We are all citizens of the United States, and should all be created equal. Also considering that this country was founded by immigrants. If you think otherwise then let me ask you this when you are filling out paperwork and when it asks for race or ethnicity (Heritage: German, Chinese, Japanese etc…) it doesn’t show American. But it does also show African-American, Native-American, Mexican-American...
What people need to understand is there is a bad in ALL races or heritage, so people that think that they are a certain race and are superior over someone, just makes you look ignorant. There is always a bad and a good to everything. And just because that is the stereotype it doesn’t mean I’m like that. No race is more superior than the next. And by you telling people that you are only makes you look bad. everyone is racially mixed with something. Think about what your race did before you attack someone else, because often yours is worse than theirs is. There is a bad to everything.
